Magical Utterances is a spellcasting arena battler where you are the wand. Speak a spell's name into your microphone, type it, or draw its glyph with the mouse in Silent Mode, and watch it tear across a roaring stone colosseum.

Features

• 72 spells across five rarities. Fireballs, frost, lightning, poison, shadow, void and holy fire, from a quick Spark to the Mythics. Every spell has its own particles, sounds and impacts.
• Three ways to cast. Voice, typing, or drawing glyphs. Harder spells have longer words and trickier shapes.
• Ultimates and combos. Fill your ULT bar for a stronger version of any spell. Fire Reversal: Red into Lapse: Blue and watch them fuse into Hollow Purple.
• Domain Expansions. Malevolent Shrine and Infinite Void take over the whole arena. Expand against an enemy's domain and the two clash: draw as much as you can (or shout as loud as you can) to win it. A Simple Domain shrugs off a domain's sure-hit.
• Divine General Mahoraga. Summon him and become him for a minute. You get his own moves (Slam, Cut, Punch and Reverse Cursed Technique), and his wheel adapts to anything that hits you three times.
• Story mode. Play as Kael Thorne and fight through the Gauntlet that killed your father, to face Vorhax the Unbroken at the end.
• Roguelite runs. Three rings of bosses with random traits, a boon after every win, spell packs to open, and permanent upgrades.
• Duel the AI. Easy to Impossible. Impossible fights in three escalating phases. Teams, tournaments, Capture the Flag and spectating, with free, first-person and whole-stadium cameras and a 4x speed-up.
• Online rifts for up to ten mages. Free-for-All, Waves (with boons between waves), Teams, AI Watch and 4v4 Capture the Flag, with a public room browser.
• Emotes. Hold G for the emote wheel. Open the Emote Case for 13 more, up to Fireworks, Levitate and the relic Starfall.
• Collect and customise. Spell cards with alternate art (Full Art, Shiny, Gilded, Nightfall, Prismatic), robes, hats, wands, stickers and emotes from cases, plus online trading.
• Runs smoothly on laptops. Auto-quality and a frame-rate setting aim to hold 80+ fps, even on integrated graphics.
• A full tutorial with arrows and a traced shadow of every glyph you need to draw.
• School Mode. One key swaps the game for a math practice page (times tables and more), and the same key brings you back.
